Ship's Ahoy! Stampin' Up!'s Come Sail Away is Fantastic!!

I've had so much fun creating with this suite of products. It is full of beautiful detailed stamps that look like line drawings. Today, I've decided to pair them with our stunning BRIGHTS color collection to create some eye-catching cards. I hope you enjoy.

Here are the supplies you will need for this multi-layered stunner.

Card Base in Poppy Parade, 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"; Insert in Whisper White Thick, 4" x 5 1/4"; 3 front mats - Whisper White Thick, 4 1/8 x 5 3/8", Poppy Parade Brights DSP, 4" x 5 1/4", Pacific Point Brights DSP 3 3/4" x 5"; Card front in Pacific Point, 3 3/4" x 5"

Stamp the card insert with the large ship stamp in Poppy Parade. On scraps of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, stamp lighthouse in Poppy Parade, small ship in Coastal Cabana, large ship in Bermuda Bay. Cut out with Smooth Sailing dies. Cut seaweed with Smooth Sailing dies from scrap of Vellum cardstock. Stamp Sentiment with sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Pacific Point and seagulls from Come Sail Away set in Coastal Cabana. The seagulls are 2nd generation stamping.

Did you know that you can color lots of our embellishments with the Stampin' Blends markers? Here I colored a wheel from the package of Sail Away Trinkets with my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend marker.

These are the three front layers of the card. Use adhesive of your choice (I really like our liquid multipurpose glue).

For the card front, I cut an opening with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Use the die that measures 4 1/2" long by 2 1/2" tall. On the back of the cardstock, adhere Foam Adhesive Strips to create a window.

This is the card once the card front has been adhered. Now to decorate!

Use adhesives of your choice to adhere all of your pretty stamped images and embellishments. I've also made this in a Flirty Flamingo/Coastal Cabana combination.
