Post It Holder with Calendar

Card #1

Measurements and Instructions:


  • Card Base Azure Afternoon 4 1/4” x 11”, scored at 5 1/2”
  • 1st layer 4” x 5 1/4” SAB Bloom Impressions 12” x 12” DSP #164944
  • Accordion support 3” x 4”, scored at each 1/2” increment on short side
  • For Post It Holder:  4 3/4” x 7 1/4” scored on short side at 1/2” and 4 1/4”,and 4” and 4 1/2” on the long side
  • For Post It Holder (pencil):  2 1/2” x 2 1/2” scored at 1/2” increments on one side
  • Note:  I recommend using Tear & Tape and/or Liquid Glue for this project



  1. Score and burnish card base, THEN trim 1/4” inch from one short side.  This will be the back of your card base - this helps to counterbalance the weight of the post it/calendar.
  2. Assemble the Post It Holder as indicated in photos: Score, burnish and miter cut; adhere the pencil holder; adhere larger piece of DSP then adhere pencil holder just to the inside of the score lines in the corner; adhere two sides of holder; adhere the front piece of DSP.
  3. Adhere the piece of DSP directly to the card base.  
  4. Adhere the accordion support - fold in mountain valley folds, then adhere to inside of card base about 3/4” up from bottom.
  5. Adhere Post It Holder to front of card.
  6. Adhere calendar and embellish if desired.  Calendars purchased from tayloredexpressions.com.

Add Tear & Tape as shown.


Accordion support


 Add adhesive to side of pencil holder and then adhere the sides together.
