Hear Ye Hear Ye, make way for the Noble Peacock!

I don't think it's any secret that I love jewel-tones.  I cannot get enough of those dark, rich, saturated lovelies like Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, and Blueberry Bushel.  Enter the Noble Peacock suite, Stampin' Up!s answer to my jewel-toned prayers!  Today I have examples of two cards that (I hope) do justice to these beautiful products.  The cards are the same layout, but with different color combinations.

Pieces and Parts, and what to do with them:
Card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Card Front:  Mat of Basic Gray, cut 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", Noble Peacock DSP in Blueberry Bushel,
cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
Insert:  Gray Granite cut at 4" x 5 1/2"
Peacock and Sprig cut with Detailed Peacock Dies, in Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel, respectively,
Shaker window cut from Old Olive Foil Sheet,  outside measurement 2 3/4" x 1 3/8".  I used two rectangles taped together with masking paper and run through the die cutter.   Turn Old Olive frame over, cut a small piece of window sheet, and glue window sheet to the back of the frame with liquid multipurpose glue.  Trim edges of window sheet to match the dimensions of the frame.  Attach foam strips to the entire perimeter of the back of the frame/window sheet piece.  This will now serve as your shaker!
Adhere the Basic Gray and Blueberry Bushel DSP together and adhere to card front.  Sponge some liquid glue on the back of the peacock and adhere.  Place a small mound of Woven Threads sequins next to the peacock.  Take the backing paper off of the foam strips on the back of your frame and on the outer corner, attach some rose metallic thread to the outer corner.  Turn the frame over and adhere to the front of the card, over the sequins.  Voila!  Now you have a shaker element.  Finally, using mini glue dots adhere some Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim to the front of the frame, or directly underneath it.  For this card above I attached it to the front of the frame, but I prefer it underneath (as in the next example). Adhere sprig onto the front of the peacock.
Stamp a partial peacock image onto the Gray Granite insert, and adhere.  I stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose.

The inside is as pretty as the outside.

 So much texture and color!

I think I prefer this one.  Here's the color combination:

Card base: Pretty Peacock
Card Front: Night of Navy and Pretty Peacock DSP
Insert:  Rococo Rose
Peacock Die Cut:  Old Olive Foil
Shaker Window:  Blueberry Bushel Foil
Ooh la la, I love the inside of this card.  I would have never used a white insert on this card!
