Everything Is Rosy!

I'm so pleased to be able to take part in Kylie's Demonstrator Blog Hop for May!  I love Kyle and this group of amazing Demonstrators.  Please stop by all Hops for endless inspiration.

Stampin' Up has outdone themselves again.  This time it is with the Limited Edition Everything Is Rosy Product Medley.  This unique and exclusive grouping of products is available only until May 31, 2019 or while supplies last.  I knew immediately that I would be using this medley to make a Mother's Day Card for my special Mom.  She loves "bling" as she says, and this paper is ooh la la.  Let's take a look at my card, then I will show you a picture of everything that is included in the medley.

The construction is quite easy.  This card measures 6" x 6".  Begin by cutting a card base of Night of Navy at 6" x 7 1/2", scored at 1 1/2".  Choose two of your favorite 6 " x 6" pieces of DSP or foil from the medley. Cut to measure 6" x 5", and glue them together except for the left hand horizontal side of the card stocks.  So, you are sandwiching the DSP sheets together, but leaving an opening on one of the 6" ends.  Then you will apply glue to ONLY 1/2" of both sides of the 1 1/2" scored piece of the Night of Navy cardstock, and sandwich that in between the two pieces of DSP.  Make sure that the right hand side of your DSP lines up with the back piece of the Night of Navy card base, and then adhere everything securely.  Die cut two of the long scroll dies out of DSP or foil of your choice and adhere to either side where the card stock and the DSP meet.  Finally, tie ribbon of your choice around the entire thing to hide the seam.   Use glue dots to secure the ribbon where needed.  Here I've chosen two of the beautiful die cut pieces that come with the medley and stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set in Night of Navy. on the inside right side, just stamp images of your choice on an insert of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, measuring
5 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Die cut one more of the long scroll dies out of DSP or foil of your choice, adhere this down first and follow by adhering the Whisper White on top of that.  Finally, for the back cover run a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Rose Gold Foil through your embosser while using the Subtles folder and adhere.  And voila - a beautiful card fit for a beautiful Mother.

But the fun doesn't stop there.  This medley is so full of paper and embellishments that you will have many many cards to make.  With the stunning combination of Night of Navy, Melon Mambo and Whisper White you can make cards for any occasion.  And if you eventually run out of the consumables, you still have a fantastic stamp and die set that you can choose to use in any color combination for any type of products.  Cards, 3D, etc.
