A Christmas Z-Fold Card. Pretty and quick!!

Are you finished making your Christmas cards yet?  No judgement here - I'm still cranking them out! Here's a fast and (I think) very pretty card that uses a fancy fold, some gorgeous papers and a very cool stamp set.

The Ingredients:

Card Base in Gray Granite, measuring 4 1/4" x 11",  and scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Two pieces of Whisper White Thick cardstock, cut 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", and 4" x 5 1/4".
One piece of Tranquil Tide cardstock cut 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".
One piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut 2 5/8" x 4 1/8"
3 Epoxy Drops, frosted or clear

Directions:

Start by folding your card base.  First fold in half on the 5 1/2" score line.  Then fold the top half onto itself at the 2 3/4" score line.  This gives you a card with a "z" shape and something a little out of the ordinary.

Next, spatter paint the two pieces of Whisper White Thick cardstock.  To do this, lay the cardstock flat onto your grid paper or workstation.  Take your Bronze Stampin' Blends marker (or another color of your choice) and uncap the paintbrush end.  Strike the Bronze marker against another marker, and the pressure will send spatters of Bronze across the cardstock.  It's that little extra "something" that makes your card special.

Use the wreath, sentiment and bow stamps from the set Wishing You Well.  On the smaller Thick White Cardstock piece, stamp the wreath in Shaded Spruce, and the wreath and bow in Merry Merlot.  This is a set of Stampin' Up!'s new DistINKtive Stamps, in which the stamps have a photo-like quality.  Stunning!

Adhere the DSP and cardstock pieces to the card base.  Apply epoxy droplets to the front.  Voila!  One card down and ?? to go.

So simple.  Give this card a go.  If you like this card and would like to replicate it, shopping links for all supplies are below.  I used the Joyous Noel DSP which is sold out, so as an alternate I'd suggest the festive Dashing Along DSP.

Thank you for stopping by!  See you soon.
